The Japanese have a thriving society and on average have the longest life expectancy in the world.  Through the Japanese Arts you are able to learn the framework for Japan’s prosperity. The spirit of *Sado, Buyo, and Kado teaches you about harmony and appreciating the moment.


 

Theresa Lynn incorporates a cosmopolitan approach for the teachings of urbanity, respect, cleanliness, calm and steadiness with "how to" classes in tea ceremony, traditional dance and flower arrangement. Memory, coordination and discipline will improve.

 

They are lifetime studies therefore no pressure, no time limit, a constant; although a person may stop and restart at different points through out their life. It is a place to explore meditation, discipline and respect.

 

 

We are the American branch of the Osaka Sado Kai certified by the Japanese Education Department.

 

License and Diploma courses are available.

Theresa Lynn lived in Japan working, studying and teaching within the Japanese culture for over 20 years.

 

Theresa earned the highest level of Certification “Shisho” Master or Professor in the *Hanayagi School of Dance.

 

Theresa speaks fluent Japanese, has Diplomas in Japanese, Urasenke School of Tea, Sencha School of Tea, Ikenobo and Sogetsu School of Flower Arrangement, Shigeyama Ryu Kyogen and Kanze Ryu Noh.

 

Theresa also works in the entertainment field in front and behind camera.  Theresa has performed in numerous TV, film and commercial productions as well as live performances and works with costumes and event coordination.

 

 

Based now out of Southern California in America Theresa is available for performances, weddings, events, demonstrations, workshops and classes.

 

 

*Hanayagi Ryu is the largest school in Japan, with hundreds of years of history.  You can see their choreography in Kabuki plays and in pop music on Japanese TV.
